Brands Group's headquarter is located in Deurne (The Netherlands), and has subsidiaries in Düsseldorf (DE) and Antwerp (BE). Your job

As Account Manager Industrial you will be responsible for sales and marketing of batteries, charging equipment and related products. You feel connected to your customers and you know better than anyone what is going on with them and how you can be of service to them. You further expand the business with current customers and developing new business accounts.  
 
With your (technical) knowledge of the market, the solutions and services you can monitor and develop new business opportunities in the industrial and OEM market. To increase sales opportunities and convert potential customers into clients you work closely with Product Management, your Sales colleagues and the Technical Engineers of GP Batteries in Hong Kong. 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Knows how to build long-term customer relationships and grow the business together;
  • Is on top of the latest market trends, industry standards and new product innovations;
  • Is eager to open new doors by translating customer requirements to custom made battery solutions;
  • Ensures customer satisfaction, by attention to detail and a full control on the projects from start to finish;
  • Is a business-driver and likes to challenge the status quo;
  • Add value in every aspect of the game. From Marketing to Sales, from Supply Chain planning to technical support;
  • Has strong communication skills  with an excellent command (spoken and written) of the German and English language;
  • Has a completed degree in technical field, ideally with additional commercial training (e.g. MBA) or comparable qualification.

Just another day at the job

You start your morning with a nice cup of coffee and open your mail to have glance at the daily sales report and process the new emails you’ve received from the Hong Kong team.  9:30 am, it’s time for your Teams meeting: the weekly sprint review with all your team members. You will discuss the latest status of running projects and opportunities. The action points for next week are discussed and the meeting is finished.  
 
In the afternoon you are visiting a lead that you have met during the fair last week. The last preparations to the sales presentation are done and you jump in the car to drive to your meeting. After a interesting talk with the potential customer , you write a short note to debrief the team. A nice new opportunity to add to the list, and to discuss with GP tomorrow morning during the monthly business review.  Another day gone, it’s time to close the laptop and enjoy the evening.
